Yeah absolutely. We lost our cat a few years ago. Several days after she passed my wife was sitting in the kitchen, I was down in the basement. She comes down all in tears. She said she heard very clearly the sound of the litter box. We had one of those that have the auto cleaning rake going in one direction and then back. It’s pretty loud, because we use crystalline litter for it. The box was in the laundry adjacent to the kitchen. Some days later I was in the kitchen doing dishes.
