When I was younger, and JV was a rookie, I did a fund raiser with little league baseball in downriver Michigan. I won the fundraiser top seller, along with a team mate of mine, and we got to sleep in center field at Comerica Park, where we watched The Sandlot, and tented / sleeping bagged over night, which is something I'll never forget. In the morning, we got to warm up with the players, and get some apparel signed by them. I have a JV wooden bat, signed, and a memory with my father, that neither of us will ever forget. Thank you for being a Tiger, JV. You gave us so many memories. Enjoy your retirement one of the greatest to do it here! MY GOAT. Go TIGERS!번역 보기

We Tiger fans were lucky to have him for 14 years. It really was special. He didn't just throw heat - he pitched and set up batters. Even today I feel like, maybe he has one more gem for his last start.번역 보기
