They're talking that way because years ago when we were kids, that's sort of how the hosts of children's shows used to talk to the kids but it's very exagerated in this skit, to make to be funny. This is supposed to be a funny skit of play school (a very popular childrens program years ago in Australia) and the 2 hosts are sniping at each other using words and phrases that kids would never understand but as adults, we know what they're really saying to each other so it's hilarious. You're not supposed to analyse it, just have a good laugh at these 2 people who while doing their job of entertaining kids, are sniping back and forth about their personal life but because he went out the night before, had a booze up with a bimbo and came home late, she's really rubbing it in by doing things kids love to do (e.g. spinning around and banging saucepan lids) but to actually make his hang over even worse and he's feeling too rotten to really do much but try and get through without throwing up.번역 보기
