The clip revolves around things that are believed to bring bad luck, such as black cats, opening an umbrella indoors, the evil eye being cast through a photograph, spilling salt, breaking a mirror or looking into a broken one, the number 13, a ladder falling over, and lifting heavy objects at night. All of these are superstitions associated with bad luck. Some of the most well-known ways to protect yourself from the evil eye are saying “Maşallah” and knocking on wood three times. If you look closely, in Sueda’s first part, her hands are stained with something we call kına, which is also traditionally believed to offer protection against the evil eye. ❤ And even the evil eye bead breaking at the end can be interpreted as a positive sign. According to the belief, the bead absorbed the evil eye and negative energy to protect the girls, and it broke because it had fulfilled its purpose. Rather than being a sign of bad luck, its breaking symbolizes that it did its job and protected them. 🧿💙 And yes, the musical instrument heard at the end is called the kemençe, a traditional instrument associated with Türkiye’s Black Sea region. Zeynep also performs a small part of a traditional dance called horon, which is danced to the music of the region. Her raised arm movements are part of the dance’s characteristic style. I hope you have an amazing time at the concert with your girlfriend! I’m so happy you’re going. ❤🥹번역 보기
