We are staying busy for yall! This time we are not back with another cover. This time we have something new for you guys, something that we haven’t done before and definitely something very special! Our first Original Choreography project! The past weeks we have prepared a K-Pop inspired choreography all by ourselves to BLACKPINK’s latest title track GO. Since it doesn’t have its own choreo, we made it ourselves, and we made sure not to forget the background dancers for a typical epic BLACKPINK outro! ❤‍🔥 - For me personally (Leo - Leader & Choreographer of the project), this project is a big milestone and a dream come true. As some of you might already know, I am a huge BLINK, so I was sad when GO dropped without a dance. But as a choreographer, I saw an opportunity: I was looking for a song for my next original group choreography, and GO was perfect. In April I started to choreograph and I immediately had so many ideas. I had a vision. I was inspired by BLACKPINKs energy and the GO music video, ancient, dramatic, epic, emotional and queen-like. I always tried to look through their eyes while creating but also fuse it with my own style. Because I wanted the dance to feel like a BLACKPINK choreo but at the same time fresh and like something they haven’t done before (including a fair center distribution for Jisoo). In the beginning it wasn't meant for UNLXMITED, but I thought: wouldn't it be incredible to do an original dance project for UNLXMITED and showcase a new side of ourselves? Because we have some choreographers in our crew and released short self-choreographed videos in the past, but never a full project like this. So I pitched my choreo and I am so thankful that I was able to do my own creation for my group‘s channel. I am so proud of this video. The first of its kind on our channel. I want to thank my members VVASA, Catherine and Beka for pouring so much passion into my creation, my GO dancers Milly, Lee, Nura, Minty, Emi and Maya-Lina for elevating the project into something epic and my team behind the screen Andres, Jennifer and Gery for brining my vision to life! Thank you for allowing me to live my dream and experience my dreams come true! As a choreographer, your choreos feel like your own babies, you bring them to life, nurture them, spend endless hours shaping them, pour all your heart, soul and thoughts into every step. And the moment they see the light of the world is always the most beautiful and rewarding moment. The moment is now, so I will cherish this forever!
