trumpt/maga took a wrecking ball to the federal government. The damage they have inflicted will take decades and trillions of dollars to rebuild. Perhaps the most serious damage was the purge of experience and talent from the ranks of senior federal workers. Not only will most of these workers not return, but future talent will not invest their careers into working for Americans at the federal level.
