Nothing stops the Philippines from being HILARIOUS... not even FLOODS!

"It's so fcking funny... but it's so fxking depressing." I've been watching these two with their reviews of world-class Filipino singers and other artists. Their reception is so good that they even decided to venture into reviewing videos about typical Filipino culture. This collection of videos about Filipinos being fun, humorous, and resilient in the middle of the flood crisis just happens to be their latest upload... and it got me thinking. That comment from the guy I pasted above—it made me realize we don't find our situation unusual anymore. It has become normal, and being happy and fun and comical about these issues is just our coping mechanism as Filipinos. It's funny and depressing indeed. It's so laughable, but you just can't do anything about it. We are under a government that has taken advantage of our "resilience" and that attitude of accepting our fate without even raising our pinky fingers in our attempt to fight back.
